Frequently Asked Questions - FOR ARTISTS

Everything you need to know about working with LOAV Worldwide.

We believe transparency is one of the foundations of a successful creative partnership. This page explains how we currently operate, what artists can expect and how we approach representation, exhibitions and opportunities.

LOAV Worldwide is a founder-led international curatorial platform and hybrid gallery dedicated to discovering, representing and promoting exceptional artists from around the world.  Guided by a clear curatorial vision, our represented artists are selected through a thoughtful and highly selective process rather than an open-call model.

Beyond organising exhibitions, we work to create meaningful long-term opportunities through collector relationships, commercial partnerships, curatorial projects and innovative digital initiatives that help artists build sustainable creative careers.

Representation with LOAV Worldwide is intended to be a long-term partnership built on trust, transparency and shared growth. Rather than focusing solely on exhibitions, we work alongside our artists to develop meaningful opportunities that support their creative practice and professional careers over time.

Depending on each artist's practice, representation may include:

• Professional curatorial guidance

• Physical exhibitions

• Digital exhibitions and showcases

• Artist features and editorial content

• Marketing and promotion

• Gallery Shop representation

• Collector introductions

• Creative and commercial opportunities

• Strategic career development

Every artist's journey is unique. Representation is tailored to the individual, and opportunities may vary depending on the artist's practice, career stage, availability and suitability for specific projects.

No.

LOAV Worldwide currently offers non-exclusive representation.

Artists remain free to work with other galleries, organisations and collectors unless a specific project requires temporary exclusivity, which would always be agreed separately in writing.

Representation is entirely curatorial.

Artists are selected based on:

• Artistic quality

• Originality

• Professionalism

• Consistency of practice

• Alignment with LOAV Worldwide's vision

• Long-term potential

Our represented roster is curated and not currently open through a general application process.

From November 2026, artists who are not represented by LOAV Worldwide will be able to submit portfolios through the LOAV Digital Showcase Programme, creating a pathway for future opportunities and possible representation.

No.

Submitting work through the Digital Showcase or any future submission programme does not guarantee selection, exhibition or representation.

Every portfolio is reviewed individually using the same curatorial principles applied across LOAV Worldwide.

Representation continues for as long as both the artist and LOAV Worldwide believe the partnership remains beneficial.

Either party may end the relationship in accordance with the Representation Agreement and contracts are renewed yearly.

Yes.

Although we aim to build long-term partnerships, LOAV Worldwide reserves the right to end representation where there has been a significant breach of agreement, professional misconduct, misrepresentation or circumstances that no longer align with our values or curatorial direction.

Under our current model, represented artists do not pay application fees, representation fees or annual membership fees.

Instead, LOAV Worldwide invests in building each partnership through exhibitions, marketing, curation and professional opportunities.

LOAV Worldwide's current representation model is built on investing in the artists we represent. As a result, represented artists are not charged exhibition fees for LOAV-curated exhibitions.

Future exhibition models may vary depending on the nature, scale or location of a project. Any costs or participation arrangements will always be communicated clearly before an artist commits.

Yes.

As LOAV Worldwide continues to grow internationally, our services, programmes and business model may evolve to ensure the long-term sustainability of the organisation.

Should significant changes ever occur, they will always be communicated transparently and introduced fairly.

No.

Every exhibition is independently curated.

Artists are selected according to the concept, available space, practical considerations and curatorial vision of each exhibition.

Artwork selection considers:

• Curatorial relevance

• Quality

• Scale

• Diversity

• Installation requirements

• Exhibition narrative

The strongest exhibition is always prioritised over displaying every available artwork.

Yes.

Participation is always discussed with the artist before being confirmed.

Yes.

LOAV Worldwide currently offers non-exclusive representation, allowing artists to continue selling their work independently.

However, any sale, exhibition, collector introduction, licensing opportunity or commercial partnership sourced, introduced or facilitated by LOAV Worldwide remains subject to the terms of the Representation Agreement, including any applicable commission or ongoing contractual obligations.

Transportation arrangements depend on the nature of each exhibition or project.

Unless otherwise agreed, artists are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of delivering their artworks to the agreed location, as well as ensuring prompt collection following the exhibition or project.

Where LOAV Worldwide organises or contributes towards transportation, this will always be discussed and agreed with the artist in advance.

Artists are responsible for ensuring their artworks are professionally packaged before shipment unless alternative arrangements have been agreed.

Proper packaging helps minimise the risk of damage during transit.

Responsibility depends on where the damage occurred.

Artists are encouraged to insure artworks while in transit.

Where third-party couriers are used, claims generally fall under the courier's insurance terms.

LOAV Worldwide will always assist in resolving issues wherever reasonably possible.

Artists are responsible for arranging and maintaining their own insurance for their artworks, including during transportation to and from exhibitions, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

LOAV Worldwide maintains its own appropriate insurance for exhibitions and takes every reasonable care in handling artworks while they are under our supervision. However, artists are expected to have their own insurance in place to ensure full protection of their work at all times.

Any exhibition-specific insurance arrangements will be communicated to artists in advance.

Unless otherwise agreed, artists are responsible for supplying exhibition-ready artwork.

LOAV Worldwide may arrange professional framing where appropriate, with any associated costs discussed and agreed beforehand.

Depending on the circumstances, artworks may:

• Return to the artist

• Remain available through the Gallery Shop

• Be included in future exhibitions

• Be stored temporarily by agreement

Every situation is discussed individually.

Pricing is agreed collaboratively between the artist and LOAV Worldwide, taking into account the artist's desired price, market positioning, career stage, comparable sales, production costs and exhibition strategy.

While LOAV Worldwide will always respect the artist's valuation of their work, we reserve the right to provide professional guidance where we believe a proposed price does not accurately reflect current market conditions or may affect the artwork's ability to sell successfully.

Payments are made after funds have been received from the collector and any agreed obligations relating to the sale have been completed.

Full payment procedures are outlined within the Representation Agreement.

Yes.

Many of our represented artists undertake private commissions.

To protect both the artist and the integrity of our partnerships, any commission, collector introduction or commercial opportunity introduced, sourced, negotiated or facilitated by LOAV Worldwide must be managed through LOAV Worldwide and will remain subject to the terms of the Representation Agreement.

The LOAV Worldwide Digital Showcase is an international online programme launching in November 2026.

It has been created to discover exceptional artists beyond LOAV Worldwide's represented roster while providing meaningful visibility and future opportunities.

Yes.

Applications are subject to a modest portfolio review fee, which supports the professional curatorial time involved in carefully evaluating every submission.

The review fee covers the evaluation process only and does not guarantee selection, inclusion in the Digital Showcase or representation.

Artists selected become part of LOAV's Digital Showcase Curated Roster and may be invited to digitally showcase their work alongside LOAV's represented artists across future exhibitions and curated projects, subject to curatorial suitability.

Participation in each digital showcase is optional and subject to a modest participation contribution (typically charged per artwork) to support the presentation, promotion and management of the exhibition. In return, artists benefit from international visibility, collector exposure, professional promotion, and a Certificate of Participation.

The Digital Showcase is a standalone curated programme and does not automatically lead to representation. However, LOAV Worldwide may invite Digital Showcase artists to join its represented roster where an exceptional long-term curatorial fit has been identified.

Selected artists may be considered for:

• Digital exhibition

• Editorial features

• Future exhibitions

• Commercial opportunities

• Gallery Shop inclusion

• Long-term representation
